Postdoctoral Position in Time-Resolved Photoelectron Imaging of Negative
Ions at the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
A postdoctoral opening is available in the laboratory of Andrei Sanov at
the University of Arizona in the area of femtosecond photoelectron
imaging and dynamics of molecular and cluster anions.
Our research focuses on the electronic structure and time-dependent
dynamics of photoinitiated chemical reactions. The experimental
approach employs femtosecond pump-probe techniques, photoelectron
imaging and time-of-flight spectroscopy, as applied to negative
ions. For additional information please visit:

An ideal candidate would be a creative experimentalist with a Ph.D. in
Physical Chemistry or Chemical Physics and experience in pulsed lasers
and high-vacuum systems. Background in photoelectron and/or
photofragment spectroscopy is also a plus.
The position is available immediately, but the starting date is
negotiable. The compensation package will be competitive, commensurate
with qualifications. Tucson, Arizona is a great yet inexpensive place
to live, with excellent climate and breathtaking scenery.
