We are currently seeking to recruit a part-time cataloguer for the Library & Information Centre in our London office. The post is for 14 hours per week, with days / times to suit the candidate. The contract is initially for 4 months, with the possibility of extending this. The work will predominately involve: 
- Cataloguing printed and electronic materials
- Taking responsibility for cataloguing maintenance, updating, and weeding of the collection. 
Candidates should be educated to degree level, with either a first degree or Masters degree in librarianship / information science. They must have at least one year's experience of cataloguing, including experience of cataloguing legal materials. Experience of cataloguing using AACR2 and of using the Moys classification scheme is desirable. 
All candidates will need to demonstrate the following additional skills:
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to work to deadlines and organise time well.
- Appear smart and professional.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
