Seriously, though, I do not see the need for new syntax. And if there is
any new syntax, it must be wrapped inside some kind of delimiter (note
that array construcotrs already have shorter syntax, namely []), with
the only shortcut being avoiding the i=1,6 part, as in:
array=[1.0,(6x0.0)]
Making (6)0.0 or any similar notation mean a *sequence* of values
without a surrounding delimiter is a bad idea, imo, even if it is
embedded inside an array constructor. But in general this is definitely
not worth arguing over :-)
