Dear Thibaud,
It may not fit into your research protocol, but
the Film and Sound Group of the Society of
Archivist conducted (and is still conducting) an
oral history of the Society of Archivists and its
members, which includes archivists, conservators,
records managers, at least one user, and at least
one person with strong political oversight of a
local service. You can find more details at
http://www.pettarchiv.org.uk/fsg/handbook.htm .
All of the recordings indicated there have been
transcribed, and the recordings and
transcriptions have largely been lodged with the
National Sound Archive at the British Library.
You may wish to add your recordings to the
project once you've finished. It is already a
powerful resource for understanding the post-war
history of archives and conservation in Britain
(with insights into African, Caribbean and
Canadian contexts as well), and your additional
material would make it more powerful still.
all the best,
Craig
