SAE2005 Conference - Challenges in Statistics Production for Domains and Small
Areas

SAE2005 is a scientific conference presenting current developments in small
area estimation with applications to statistics production and research. The
conference addresses:
(i) theoretical and methodological developments in small area estimation and
related fields, including contributions of the EURAREA research project; and
(ii) practical applications of small area estimation methods, including their
potential uses in various research areas and European official statistics.

Call for papers
Interested people are encouraged to submit contributed papers on small area
estimation and related fields. The conference language is English. If you wish
to present a paper, please submit a one-page abstract by e-mail to
