Netskills are pleased to announce the following series of web development workshops will be held at the University of Newcastle in February 2005:
1. Web Pages From Scratch (February 22nd)
Introducing the basic concepts of web authoring with XHTML markup as
well as investigating the use of authoring software tools and key
web design issues.
2. Dreamweaver MX 2004 : Accessible Web Design (February 23rd)
This workshop shows how the Dreamweaver MX 2004 web-publishing tool
can be used to create accessible web pages and manage a web site.
3. Accessible Web Design (February 24th)
This workshop is designed to raise awareness of accessibility issues
and to demonstrate practical solutions for developing accessible and
usable web content.
4. Databases on the Web (February 24th)
Explore some practical methods for delivering database-driven web
pages, including Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) and PHP with
MySQL
