Hi Folks,
"Why school-selection exams are unfair"
If you didn't read this on the back page of the
Guardian's "G2" section this week (Thu Oct 10),
you can find it at
http://www.guardian.co.uk/g2/story/0,3604,1639053,00.html
It's a textbook example of statistical method (though
I wonder which textbook ... ).
However, why I'm writing is to ask if anyone can locate
the website of "the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of
one important London grammar school" referred to, who
are said to have published the results of more than 1000
boys (sitting a mock 11+) "on the web".
I've googled a bit on the obvious suspects this morning,
but without success.
Best wishes to all,
Ted.
