The lectures were published as a small book that I recall reading a
couple of years ago, called(unsurprisingly) "Science and the Common
Understanding" and published by the OUP in 1954. There are a few
copies in the Oxford libraries and a number of second hand copies
available on abebooks.co.uk. It's quite an interesting read.
