Personally I think poetry and swearing have more in common than poetry
and sex. Writing a good poem is like having a really good *curse*.

I once wrote a poem which I was convinced (correctly or not) that if I
showed it to the person it was written about, it would drive him to suicide.
(I didn't -- show it, that is. Wrote it but didn't pass it. I wasn't
*that* pissed off with the target of the poem. Not quite.)
The Mojo Man
[I once put a hex on Horace Batchelor, him of, if anyone remembers this, the
Infra Draw Pools Method ads on Radio Luxemburg, that frightened me off
doing it (too often) as it seemed to work. Could have been coincidence,
natch, but I didn't feel like carrying on in an experimental fashion just in
case.
