Since January 2005 we run an International Max Planck Research School with
experimental and theoretical research opportunities. The focus will be on
dynamics in matter covering a wide spectrum ranging from finite atomic and
molecular systems up to infinite surfaces and solids.
The school is located in Dresden/Germany and will be jointly operated by the
following institutions:
- Technische Universität Dresden
- Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research
- Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids
- Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems
and our partner
- Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research in Wroclaw/Poland
The school offers excellent research facilities and a high-level lecture
programme. We are looking for highly talented and motivated students with an
interest in studying atomic, molecular or condensed-matter phenomena. The
standard entrance qualification is a Master degree or a German Diploma.
Ph.D. fellowships are available for students worldwide and will be awarded
on a competitive basis.
