HI everyone - not a question - more of an observation and a steep learning curve!
I recently sustained a double fracture whilst abroad. I did not speak the language. I went through the local health care system where little or no English was spoken and I had the service of an interpreter who was neither qualified as one or had any medical terminology.
Sounds bad but what I would say above all is that I sure did learn a lot from being on the 'other side'!
