Subject: new website
Dear Colleague:
I am pleased to report that I have just finished making operational a new website service entitled "Some Biogeographers, Evolutionists and Ecologists: Chrono-Biographical Sketches" which provides about 250 profiles of leading naturalists of the past. It can be accessed at:
http://www.wku.edu/~smithch/chronob/homelist.htm
This new site is meant to stand on its own as a biographical source, but it is also linked to from the entries at my already-existing "Early Classics in Biogeography, Distribution, and Diversity Studies" sites, at:
http://www.wku.edu/~smithch/biogeog/
http://www.wku.edu/~smithch/biogeog/index2.htm
A few finishing touches remain to be added, but basically it is ready to go. I would appreciate your helping to get the word out in any way you can, to colleagues or students, or possibly to any appropriate review venue. Any kind of feedback (including pointing out any mistakes) is of course welcome!
