Dear All
This month's 'Imagining Radio' workshop - held on the last Thursday of each month - will take place on Thursday 29th September at 6pm. It will be held within the University of London's School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS). The workshop is designed both to provide a critical forum for people interested in all aspects of radio research and a space for the development and design of possible programmes for future broadcast. A particular emphasis of the IRadio series is to reflect on and develop new and inventive content of an experimental nature. The approach adopted is open textured and as such a whole range of production concept's and applications are considered.
There will also be a 'Constructing Radio' workshop on Monday 3rd of October. This is a complementary workshop focusing on all aspects of radio production and practice. There is also a section dedicated to emerging radio projects and future possibilities within radio as a medium.
The workshops are completely free of charge and open to all. If anyone on the list, would like to book a place at the workshop, please email: [log in to unmask] Should anyone like to propose a feature or make a presentation or develop a programme at future workshops, please get in touch at the above address.
Many thanks
Thomas Oladokun
