Geographical Information System (GIS) technology is becoming an integral
part of the information infrastructure in many organisations. This seminar
will introduce the concepts underlying GIS and demonstrate some current
applications as well as exploring the potential future for this key
technology. In addition you will be able to play with GIS software during a
hands-on session.
