I haven't had any feedback at all from my enquiry about stock selection,
leaving me to conclude either that a) nobody ever changes their stock
selection policy, b) people change their stock selection policy but
don't collect statistics to see what impact it has had or, c) (most
likely,) people have been too busy to reply to my e.mail or were
deterred by the fact that it had no subject heading and mentioned
Victorian studies.
My basic question was: has anybody ever collected feedback to see what
impact changes in their stock selection policy has had on library use? I
would still like to hear from anybody who has any ideas on this subject.
Thanks,
Anna Martin
