Library Management System Trainers
Academic-Related Senior Librarian Grade 2: Salary £23,182 - £30,002 p.a.

Oxford University Library Services is seeking to recruit five energetic
individuals for one year posts during the implementation of the new
Library Management System (LMS). One of these trainers will be a member
of the present library service team, and will provide cover for a member
of that team for one year. The remaining four trainers will be members
of the project team for the new LMS. All five successful candidates will
join the current Online Library Information System (OLIS), Catalogue
Support Services (CSS) and Automated Stack Request (ASR) trainers to
form the Training team.
The successful candidates will be graduates with proven experience in
the provision of training in the use of computer software. A
qualification in library and information science or a teaching
qualification (PGCE) would be an advantage. Familiarity with the use
and operation of library management systems and knowledge of academic
library procedures in the areas of automated services would also be
relevant to the posts.
You will be a self motivated team-player with excellent communication
skills and the ability to work with colleagues throughout OULS. Further
