Please can I remind everyone about the information
literacy conference 
that 
is taking place at Edge Hill College of Higher
Education, Ormskirk 
(Lancashire) on Tuesday March 15th 2005, 9.30am -
4.00pm.  This 
promises to 
be a very interesting day and we have an excellent
panel of speakers 
including Sheila Corrall, Alison Mackenzie and Chris
Powis.

This one day conference will include presentations,
workshops and 
opportunities to exchange experiences about
information literacy.  Our 
speakers include:

**Alison Mackenzie** (Library Services Manager,
Manchester Metropolitan 
University)
**Chris Powis** (Learning Support Coordinator at

Northampton).

Charge for the day: £50 including lunch and
refreshments (reduced rate

£30 for students and UC&R members)
