The Royal Free Hospital is looking to recruit a Chartered or Trainee
Health Psychologist half time for a 1 year fixed term post to support
the implementation of the Smokefree Policy. The post holder will be
providing support to staff who want to quit as well as working with
managers around dealing with and implementing the Smokefree policy.
I have attached web-link to the advert for your interest. This post will
be working alongside the Stop Smoking Service based at the Hospital,
which is provided through Camden PCT, however employment will be through
the Occupational Health Department at the Hospital as will line
management. As this post is for a Health Psychologist, professional
management will be provided by a Chartered Health Psychologist.

It is possible as the year goes on that the post holder may be able to
expand the role e.g. providing other health promoting behaviour change
support to staff. This could be a great opportunity for someone looking
to gain experience in an acute setting or potentially broaden their
horizons.
Please pass this onto any one else you know who may be interested i.e.
people currently completing their Health Psychology Masters, or who are
currently doing or about to start their stage 2 course this year.
