A quick Google of "freedom from infection certificate" (including the
quotes) gets hits on a lot of GP Practice sites which have convinced me that
none of them know what they are certifying but that they all know what to
charge for doing it (£10.50 - £30.00)

Subject: Bizarre request
Just had a bereaved relative asking for a freedom from infection certificate
relating to the deceased so the body can be shipped over to Ireland.
Anybody else?
