I'm _taking_ Metoprolol.
I have not for some considerable time _prescribed_ Atenolol once daily.
I was urged strongly to do so by our local ""Prescribing" "Adviser""
along with all my colleagues, on the grounds that it is a long-lasting
drug and effective and cheaper that way.
