Position: Bid Manager

Start Date: ASAP – Interviews in May 2005
The Company:
·Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of data and solutions in
their niche field of expertise and can boast high profile client list
across the UK, Europe and the world.
·They have been undergoing a period of solid growth over the last 3 years,
trebling turnover during this period.
The Role:
·A large amount of the company’s business is won via competitive bids, as
well as unique innovative proposals and the delivery of targeted business
cases / discussion documents which create demand within the client base.
·Take overall responsibility for the management and delivery of Bids and
Tenders.
·Taking an active part in wider the commercial development of the company
such as Marketing, websites and news/ press releases.
·If you are keen and experienced in client facing work, the remit can
include liaising directly with clients as appropriate.
You:
·Excellent experience of the Bid and Tender process.
·Innovative and commercial approach to Tender writing.
·Commercially astute and highly “sales aware”.
.A good technical awareness of one or more of the following: - GIS, Survey
Technology, Mapping, Photogrammetry or Remote Sensing.

Salary:
.£30,000 - £40,000 + benefits package
