I am in total agreement. An open handed approach is always the best. This
is true even if the employer has transgressed some policy or law. It will
be found out anyway. So deal with that up front and openly.

The "right" to see it - possibly not. But my strong advice would be to show
everything which they would be entitled to see following a "formal SAR" at
once and without requiring a formal SAR.
They are going to see it and why would anyone wish to increase the
aggravation in such a case?
