Apologies, if this issue has been discussed before and I have missed.
I understand that AMD processors are better with floating point
computation than Intel processors. I was wondering if anybody has any
experience of running WinBUGS jobs on a AMD machine. I would like to
compare it with the performance using Intel. It would be excellent if
someone has tried both, if not I am optimistic we can gather the
comparable Intel information, since there would be many more users of
that.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.
