Dear WinBUGS users,
I have a question concerning the logical link of two multivariate nodes.
The model I'm trying to sample from is a multivariate finite mixture model
of the form:
Y=a*Y_1+b*Y_2 (1)
Where
Y_1 ~mnorm(mu1,tau1)
Y_2 ~mnorm(mu2,tau2) and the distribution of Y is observed.
The problem i can't solve is how to express (1) BUGS language. My proposal
would be
For(i in 1:N){
For(j in 1:M){
Y[i,j]<-a*Y_1[i,j]+b*Y_2[i,j]
}
}
When i try to compile the model, there is the error "Multiple definitions of
Y[1,1]"
After trying out some more expressions that all ended up in the same error
message (or in "expected multivariate node"), i hope that there is a simple
solution i wasn't aware of.
Any help would be appreciated
