She may well not be, David, but you can't extrapolate from that to the
universal. We both know, surely, that many, probably the majority,
would be.

Tony, these generalisations, gosh. I am a six footer but not exactly heavily built, + I+ at times can feel intimidated by aspects of
the macho culture in pubs. Vicky is very frail built, and disabled, but she's learnt, of perforce how to stick up for herself,
better than I can at times I might add, I get criticised by her at times for not fighting my own corner in public, but if she can do
it, walking frame and battered child bearing middle aged body, which can still stand up to life, so can any other woman, so too can
mild mannered (stop laughing, I am very mild mannered in person!) blokes like me ( she loves to tell me off if I don't ) to this
kind of crummy macho insecurity founded culture. Vicky reckons that the problem with characters of the steroid injected male mind is
that they've really got little dicks and try to compensate for it public aggression - there was one occasion when this nutter in a
pub - who was about 17 stone and somewhat top balanced and testosterone overcharged threatened to beat me up - little Vicky stood in
front of me and said if you hit him you've got to punch me first and then made suggestions about his physical properties as above -
he went away almost whimpering like a little dog, humiliated, the Big Man, by a girl. It's just a matter of standing up to these
things, as in all matters of life, like politics, doesn't mean we might not ger knocked down, but at least let's try, as did the
Warsaw Ghetto. Better to fail in trying than not to try at all, cor, that's corny.
All the Best
