for me the key word here is context
there is never not a context
the poet needs to consider that
often, with poetry there is more than one context, one more immediately
foregrounded than others
commissioned work is often moot in that respect and historical
precedent tells us that patrons (of whatever hue) are an issue but . .
.
who might and might not be defined as patron might be worth asking
here, in this context
