Neil,
I have just tested a mht file and there is no problem in opening it within a content area of a Blackboard course site.
Our Bb is of version 6.2.3.23 and is on Windows 2003 server.

Subject: files with .mht extension on Blackboard Learning System version
6.2.3.19-sp2
Has anyone noticed a problem with *.mht files with this version of Blackboard?
They worked fine with the previous version we were using (6.1.0.1-hf4). Now we
just get the following error message when a user tries to open one of these
files (MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Location:
file:///C:/C918B227/WhatisPersonalDevelopmentPlanning.htm
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/html;
charset="us-ascii" ). This error message comes from Internet Explorer, when I
use Mozzila I get even more problems (But I am fairly sure everything was fine
with our previous version of BB)..
