. . . will this year be held in Bath. I know it's a little late, but I needed
to check whether George was going to organise one in Reading this year. He's
decided not, so . . .
Friday Sept 23rd, in the Glorious City of Bath, a 1-day meeting of presentations
and discussions on Biomimetics.
In the light of increasing commercial interest, I suggest the theme:
COMMERCIAL BIOMIMETICS
The formula for the meeting will carry on the successful Reading ones.
Preliminary timings look like this:
09.00 - 09.30 Registration and coffee
09.30 - 11.00 Session 1 (3 or 4 papers)
11.00 - 11.30 Coffee
11.30 - 12.30 Session 2 (2 or 3 papers)
12.30 - 13.30 Lunch
13.30 - 14.30 Session 3 (Coffee and posters)
14.30 - 16.00 Session 4 (3 or 4 papers)
Tea and depart
So - a maximum of 11 20-minute papers or minimum of 8 30-minute papers. We'll
probably have a mixture. Plus posters (taken with the after-lunch coffee).
Cost will be £35, which includes the slap-up boozey lunch with which the
Reading meeting has become synonymous.

Since I have left this a bit late, I'd be grateful for a reply as soon as
possible. Please let me know if you want to present a paper, exhibit a poster,
or just sit in the audience. I can provide a 'proper' registration form later,
but am a little rushed today. I also apologise for any cross-posting as I try
to flood the biomimetics world with this information!
Best wishes
