At the head of the list it should be "Species" (singular and plural are
the same word) and "Application" (spelling!)
Add Pinctada to the Red Abalone list. Suggest you revise the
application to "_ceramic_ composite nanostructures"
Cow bone and antler bone could go under the same heading
Insect cuticle as a fibrous nanocomposite
Beech and Hornbeam leaves as deployable structures
Hedgehog spines as shock absorbers
Locust ovipositor as a mini-excavator
Wasp ovipositors as mini-drills
I don't agree that "biophotonics" is an application - it's just
"photonics" (where's the "bio-" in the application?)
