It's really not a problem. I'm designing inch-centric parts for holding
ICs, and other than running out of resolution on the FDM printer it's
not a big deal. You simply set the grid to operate in 25.4 units per
division and you're working in inches on a millimetre scale.
This would not be too hard to add to AoI as handy clickable options in
the grid dialogue.
