Lyndsay,
The University of Bath has built an on-line registration capability over about
five years. You can see material about this, including some sample screens, on
our web-site. We have included payment on-line for a couple of years now, and
last year revised our web-based guidance to getting registered significantly to
include more visual (sample screens) information about what the on-line process
would involve. This has also helped in answering some of the enquiries we've
had from other institutions!
You might start out at:
http://www.bath.ac.uk/student-records/getreg/index.htm, then try, for example:
http://www.bath.ac.uk/student-records/getreg/gr-new-mainug.htm, and the bulleted
step-by-step guidance you would find there.
One of the items will take you to Sample Registration on Line screeens, at:
http://www.bath.ac.uk/student-records/getreg/gr-new-rol-look.htm. We don't show
all of the sections (since it would be rather repetitive and dull), and we
don't make it fully interactive, but the drop-down menus in various places
work.
If you follow links to the threshold page for Registration on Line itself (at:
http://www.bath.ac.uk/registration-on-line/), you will also find a route to a
table and graphs showing how students registered at the start of the academic
year, at: http://www.bath.ac.uk/registration-on-line/rol-progress.htm.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
John.
