Yes we have used the Mascot range from RS as well.
To protect them from the elements, we sometimes put them in a custom
enclosure made from clear polycarbonate type stuff called PETG - again from
RS. This then sometimes needs an additional fan to keep the module cool. We
make them clear so we can see the Led's on the modules.
We have used them for ventilators and suction kit etc. We have not had any
problems so far.

Dear all
What are people using for power take-off from wheelchair batteries? I have
a user who would like to power his laptop from them. I'm sure we can make
something safe, but there must be something on the market?
PS the Madentec Voltz seems to have shot out of our price range.
