Hi,
Further to the use of XCommunicator3 for controlling Dragon Naturally Speaking the next request is whether the user can also access mobile phone calls via the head set.
I understand from Voice Power and xovoxcommunications that headsets can only be paired to one device at a time - unlike mobile phones which can pair with several at one time.
The clients who are using DNS can only use their voice to control the device. Voice Power have experimented with disconnecting the computer then pairing with the mobile phone. This takes up to a minute, which is not a practical solution. Presumably there is then an issue with reconnecting to the computer to access Dragon Naturally Speaking.
An alternative that has been suggested is to use internet telephony [Skype?] so that the computer is the control centre. The goal would be to be able to receive and send both mobile and landline calls. All has to be hands free with only voice control.
Does anyone have any experience in using this approach?
Thanks,
Matthew Pepper
