Dear All

As a former speech and language therapist and teacher I now work for an educational software company - SEMERC - part of the Granada Learning Group. We too were at CSUN (working with our American partners Tool Factory) offering hands on workshops for delegates and a chance to mix educational and health service needs in one place as the clients that we have cannot separate the two. We do exhibit at all the major educational exhibitions but find it hard to get details of others and would be pleased to hear from people who are organising such events to see if we have anything additional to offer. For an idea of the work that we do (which is varied and difficult to explain quickly) please visit our website at www.semerc.com or contact me directly for more information.

Hope this may help bridge the gap

Kind Regards

Based on recent e-mails I am looking forward to retirement as I am concerned
about re-inventing the wheel. :>))

As a Speech and Language Therapist I have gleaned a little knowledge about
the NHS initiatives and am interested in NAIDEX but I know many colleagues
in education often depend on educational special needs exhibitions and many
of the specialist companies do not appear at both.

We should be linking up more and it would be wonderful if the Disabled
Living Foundation database could be accessible to all but I am not sure how
they could then draw down funds.

I have to admit I have learnt to trawl for information which is time
consuming and I agree it is not easy. Please, Aiden take what you like from
our website which has the CSUN updates on new and old products - rather too
many to have on one page so they are divided alphabetically into three
sections.

Have a lovely weekend.
Best Wishes E.A.

Hi Ian,

FAST have just started putting new products as a 'Project' on our database
if they are less than a year old and are interesting or innovative and they
will start to feature on our home page with the newer AT Projects. For
example, we've go the 'NEW Monomouse' and the 'NEW Assistive Mouse Adaptor',
but as I mentioned to Aejaz, we're reliant on others letting us know what is
going on out there so that we can publicise it to a wider audience.

This is not meant to replace the DLF's database of existing AT, it's a
resource that everyone can dip into to quickly find out about any new
products. Anybody got any others?

Cheers,

Aidan.
