Hi Mark,
We have developed a folding baby-carrier for manual wheelchair users -
its on our website www.bime.org.uk under 'Projects'. It was designed for
parents who use wheelchairs to enable them to carry their baby around,
but can also be used for the kind of situation you describe. If the
child in the wheelchair tends to kick, I guess some kind of protective
bar would be needed.
Very best regards,
Roger

Subject: pram/wheelchair combination
Dear All
can anyone advise on the following problem?
The mother of a 6 year old child with CP is expecting another child. The
6
year old uses a manual wheelchair. Has anyone produced/come across a
solution that would allow the mother to push both the 6 year old and the
baby (outdoors) in some combination wheelchair/pram? One constraint is
that
the 6 year old may kick out if the child is placed in front of him.
best wishes
Mark
