Following the successful Launch event on Wednesday 6 July, Archives for
London invites you to attend our inaugural Seminar. Monica Halpin of The
National Archives' A2A Project will reveal more about aUK : connecting
archives, a new scheme born out of the Linking Arms consortium. This aims to
create a powerful new search engine which will provide single-point access
to hundreds of archive catalogues.
What is the AfL seminar series?
A rolling programme of free events covering topical issues

London Metropolitan Archives, 40 Northampton Road, London, EC1R 0HB
When?
Come along after work - refreshments available from 5.30pm, talk starts at
6pm, the first Thursday in every month from 1 September 2005 - Wine and
nibbles available!
Do I just have to sit and listen?
No! It’s an open forum – provides opportunities to ask questions and to
exchange the latest news
