Subject: tin can identification
Dear list members
I'm part of a group studying metallic artefacts as part of an archaeological
project in a site dating from the late XIX century.
We've found a tin can with lateral solder seam and inside rimed lids. We'd
like to get historical information about tin can manufacturing in order to
identify it or get rid of it in case it is an intrusive artefact.
Could any one help in finding sources of information?
Thank you
