This post is for a fixed-term period of 2 years
The project will involve the statistical modeling of data collected on the performance of laboratories that use molecular tests for the diagnosis of infectious diseases. The models developed will be used to identify and support good clinical practice as well as improve the diagnosis and treatment process for these diseases. The successful applicant will be encouraged to work towards a higher degree through the programme.
You should have the equivalent of a good degree with substantial statistical content. Experience with the analysis of biological data would be an advantage. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral and be able to work effectively either independently or as part of a team. You will be based mainly in Glasgow, but will be expected to travel to International Scientific Advisory meetings as part of the role.
