These two research associate positions based at Lancaster University, UK are for research statisticians within the newly formed UK-wide ESRC National Centre for Research Methods. The name of our node, which is in collaboration with Warwick University, is
"Developing Statistical Modelling in the Social Sciences"
There are two positions available, until 31st March, 2007.
Research Position 1. Working With Peter Diggle and Charlie Lewis on statistical models for developmental psychology data, including the joint generalized modelling of repeated measures and time to event data.
Research position 2. Working with Brian Francis, Keith Soothill and Roger Penn on statistical models for criminal career pathways and for temporal changes in value systems measured through preference scales.
