Research Fellow in Statistical Genetics

You will work in the Cancer Research UK Genetic Epidemiology Division
headed by Professor Tim Bishop. You will work as part of a team of genetic
epidemiologists and statisticians, clinicians, laboratory and computing
staff on a range of projects investigating the genetic epidemiology of
cancer and other complex diseases. You will be a key member of the
Statistics group headed by Dr Jenny Barrett and will be expected to
contribute fully to the program of statistical analysis and methodology
development.
You should possess a good first degree and a PhD with a high statistical
content and have previous experience of independent statistical research in
the fields of genetics or epidemiology.
