RCUK FELLOWSHIP in Statistical Genomics
Salary £29,699 - £39,094 inclusive of London Allowance
This is an exciting opportunity for a postdoctoral statistics researcher to obtain a prestigious 5-year fellowship to join a world-class team in Biostatistics and Statistical genetics, and to play a strategic role in developing links between genetics/genomics and medical specialities within Imperial College. The academic fellowship scheme provides contract research staff with a path into academia: a permanent academic position at the end of the award is guaranteed (subject to probation). You will have a PhD and postdoctoral experience, a strong interest in biostatistics, experience of analysing large datasets arising in genetics or genomics, and a strong publication record. The Fellow will be based in the Biostatistics group of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the St Mary's campus of Imperial College, Paddington. The postholder will have close links with the Genome Centre at the Hammersmith Campus and the Biostatistics programme of the new Mathematics Science Institute at South Kensington.
