Tim notes that of course we'll need HDS64 well before March, because ACSIS will
be making cubes that are larger than 512MB on a regular basis in January. ACSIS
commissioning starts January 15th so HDS64 support would be extremely welcome
before that.
Also, can the HDS leak in DEBIAS actually get fixed? There shouldn't be a reason
why the DEBIAS+MAKEFLAT combination fails when run from ICL (and thus the
monolith never gets restarted) but it works when run from Csh. I can very
merrily run DEBIAS to my heart's content using Csh, but it shouldn't fall over
when run under ICL.
It's not really a problem with MAKEFLAT malloc'ing too much space, it's a
problem with DEBIAS not doing the right thing with the HDS scratch file when run
using the same monolith. Moving to HDS64 doesn't really fix the problem, it only
bandaids the problem.
