This particular bug looks like a request for memory that is too large. The
negative sign is misleading since PSX_MALLOC does cast the signed fortran
integer to a size_t before implementing the request but in the error message it
displays it as a signed int (PSX_MALLOC should use %u rather than %d). These
error messages imply a single large malloc but the original ORAC-DR error
message implied another allocation error in AIF when attempting to create a
large temporary file.
