The Commonwealth Secretariat is the primary intergovernmental organisation
of the Commonwealth. It facilitates consultations and co-operation among
Commonwealth members in various fields and provides policy advice and
technical assistance designed to promote the well-being and development of
member countries. For more information please see
http://www.thecommonwealth.org
The Secretariat is currently undertaking a project to improve its records
management practices, and invites proposals from suitably qualified
individuals or organisations to carry out a records survey of the
Secretariat and to produce an appropriate report and recommendations. It
is expected that the report will include a survey of current Secretariat
records management practices, recommend improvements to current
procedures, and develop full retention schedules.
It is envisaged that the survey will take in the region of 65 working days
to complete.
The closing date for proposals is 7th February 2005.
For a copy of the full request for proposal document, or for further
