No, he replaced the Benedictine monks at Old Sarum with resident secular
canons. (The administrative centre of the diocese had been moved from
Sherborne to Old Sarum by William the Conqueror. The only English cathedral
to have regular canons was Carlisle.)
I have him down as being canonised in 1456 - but his translation seems to
have been in 1457 (translation feast 16 July.)
