Hello,
I'm trying to install an R-GMA MON box using the LCG 2.2.0 manual
installation guide, which is probably my first mistake. I have found
Henry's notes at <http://www.brunel.ac.uk/~eesrjjn/grid/MON_LCG220.txt>
useful to fill in some of the gaps in the official documentation, like
running ldconfig and setting mysql to "on" in chkconfig, and doing various
bits of Tomcat configuration. However, I'm still rather confused.
Since I didn't see Henry's notes until after installing the RPMs, I have
probably missed something vital in the Tomcat configuration. Can anyone
tell me what, or do I have to start again? When I run
edg-java-security-tomcat-configure I get errors due to missing files
tomcatcert.pem and tomcatkey.pem.
I gather that it is /opt/edg/etc/init.d/edg-tomcat4 rather than
/etc/init.d/tomcat4 (or the non-existent /etc/init.d/edg-tomcat4 as in the
LCG installation guide) that I should start, when I get that far. Is there
a chkconfig entry to make sure this gets started after rebooting? There is
a "tomcat4" but I would guess this refers to /etc/init.d/tomcat4.
Cheers,
Ben
