Hi John,
I think you've got it I found a reference to the old ip in
/opt/local/linux/nginstallroot/7.3/etc/hosts
I'm just re installing the system now to prove it.

Check on t2mon01 for
/var/obj/conf/profile/xml/t2mon01.xml
In this file look for the old ip address
The other possibility is that the hostname may be defined in /etc/hosts
on
a) The LCFG install server
b) on t2mon01
c) In the installroot (/XXXXXXXXXXX/etc/hosts of the LCFG server
