Dear All,
Recently I offered my Archive to people / organisations on this site.
Thank you all who offered to take it (much appreciation). In the end
most of it (35 boxes) it went to the GMCDP (Manchester) History
Project with the remaining "Arts" stuff (15 boxes) going to Holton Lee
Disability Arts Archive in Poole, Dorset. I thank them for taking it.
What I have left is videos (UK PAL system) VHS tapes. About a 100
pre-recorded (bought) videos and about another 400 taped from the
television (in SP, LP and EP) forms. All are disability (impairment)
specific films, documentaries and other TV programmes (comedy shows,
current affairs etc.). There a few additional tapes (preview, press
and educational tapes) from disabled film-makers, charities and other
organisations. It is not catalogued but a good job for someone.
So again, who wants it? (Depending upon where you are Delivery will be
discussed with you if you want it). The only things not included are
my Ironside tapes (sad I know but another fact from the file of life!)
Cheers,
Dr Paul Darke
