Is there anywhere else I can look,
I deleted all in /var/obj/conf/server/cache, then re ran do_mkxprof
t2mon01
and reinstalled the node, but it still comes up with the obsolete ip
address.
(The correct one is issued by the DHCP server earlier in the install and
is in the DNS ok).

You can delete all the files in
/var/obj/conf/server/cache
