One thing that is missing from the GGUS site, even if you know where to
find it, is any kind of statement of what GGUS it and what it does. Does
it just cover LCG, or LCG and EGEE? What about NorduGrid, Grid3, etc.? The
contents of the home page look distinctly LCG-oriented, but the name
"Global Grid User Support" sounds rather grander than this. A quick glance
at the FAQs (in the absence of any other obvious GGUS documentation) shows
a distinct focus on using the computing resources at Karlsruhe, which is
rather less global than I was expecting.
Does anyone actually know what the GGUS is for? Does the GGUS know what
it is for? And if so, why isn't it telling?
